Wild Côa Network: interview with chef Miguel Veiga

Chef Miguel Veiga is one of Rewilding Portugal’s oldest partners, having already provided catering services in several of our events and being part of this big family. Recently, he also became a member of the Wild Côa Network to further strengthen this connection and increase synergies with other members.

Greater Côa Valley hosted guide training dedicated to wolf tourism

Rewilding Portugal, together with Rewilding Europe and Nature Tourism Development, developed another training for nature guides after the success of the training carried out in 2021. This time within the scope of the LIFE WolFlux project, the training, focused on wolf tourism , intended to train nature guides that already exist in the territory or intending to develop this activity, related to this emblematic and endangered species, so that responsible tourism can be carried out in relation to it in this territory.

First Enterprise Meeting took place in the Greater Côa Valley

In the week of 12th to 15th of July, took place the first meeting of the Enterprise team from the various European rewilding areas. One of the goals of this team is to develop the economic argument for nature conservation and restoration. The meeting was held in Portugal and served to build bridges and strengthen ties.
