Rewilding Portugal organises the largest national symposium on the theme of rewilding in our country, bringing together various experts linked to this sector, who have made valuable contributions to the evolution of ecological restoration in Portugal. An event dedicated to the scientific, political (central and local) and nature conservation communities, both national and international, to put forward possible solutions and effective measures across the whole territory that will allow this movement to develop and respond to the greatest challenges currently facing rewilding in Portugal.

However, in addition to its in-person version, which is closed to invited guests, the symposium is always broadcast live online for anyone interested in following the various presentations and discussion panels. The first edition took place in 2022, and the second will take place in November of this year, 2025.
