How to participate in our projects
If you are a land owner in the project area:
Rewilding Portugal is looking to purchase some land in the area of the Côa Valley, particularly plots close to the river in the areas of Faia Brava, Marofa, Ribeira das Cabras, Middle Côa and Jardo. If you have a plot of land in these areas you would consider selling, please get in touch with us.

If you are a livestock owner in the project area:
Rewilding Portugal is looking to collaborate with livestock owners in the project area to implement natural grazing with semi-wild herbivores (breeds such as Garrano, Soraia and Maronesa). In addition, the organization is looking to collaborate with livestock owners who are interested in acquiring damage prevention measures such as fences and Livestock Guard Dogs to prevent wolf attacks.

If you are a local business owner or aspiring entrepreneur with a good idea:
Nature-based enterprises are businesses that benefit both people and wildlife by focusing on sustainability and harmonious coexistence with the natural world. If you have a good idea for a business that aligns with the above, we are looking to support the development of local businesses to stimulate the local economy. If you already have an established business (agricultural products, touristic operations, etc.) and would like to align your business to the rewilding initiative, we would also like to hear from you.
Express interest in developing your business to become a nature-based enterprise.
If you are a journalist working for a national or regional newspaper or TV station:
Rewilding Portugal is looking for journalists to work with to promote a more fair news coverage of the Iberian wolf in the national and regional media.
